What we do
We support children and youth to reach their full potential!
We collect new and gently used books, backpacks, toys, school supplies, organize donation drives, and collaborate with foster care agencies.
What we care for

Our impact
For kids in foster care, life can feel really unsettled. There’s a lot of change, and not always a lot that feels like it belongs to them. A book can be something simple but special—something they can keep, return to, and escape into. It can make them feel seen, spark their imagination, or just bring a little peace when things are hard. When we give a child a book, we’re giving them something that’s theirs. Something that helps them feel seen and cared for.
Books offer opportunities
Children in foster care often face instability, loss, and emotional trauma that can make it difficult to feel safe or hopeful. Books offer a powerful sense of escape, comfort, and connection—sometimes becoming a child’s first consistent companion. Beyond the page, reading builds literacy, emotional resilience, and confidence. It strengthens academic skills, encourages empathy, and helps children see a future filled with possibility. When a child has a book of their own, it’s more than just a story – it’s a small but powerful reminder that their voice, their dreams, and their future matter.

Bringing dreams within reach for children
We care deeply about equity, empowerment, and emotional well-being for children in foster care. We believe literacy is a human right and a critical foundation for lifelong success. Above all, we care about helping each child feel seen, valued, and inspired—one book at a time.
