What we do
We support children and youth to reach their full potential!
We collect new and gently used books, backpacks, toys, school supplies, organize donation drives, and collaborate with foster care agencies.
What we care for

The raw facts
Research shows that as of 2025, there are around 390,000 children in foster care in the United States. Between 31% and 46% of youth exiting foster care will end up homeless. 50% of children deal with the criminal legal system. Less than 3% of kids who age out of foster care earn a degree. Only 50% of children in care complete high school. Over 40% experience educational difficulties.
Opportunities
Providing foster children with books, backpacks, and school supplies can open doors to brighter futures. By having the materials needed to feel more confident in school, these kids can do better in school. Doing better in school will open so many more opportunities for them as they enter adulthood, as school is the most reliable way to secure a stable future. Simple donations can reduce educational gaps, and steer foster youth toward opportunities that can transform their trajectory.

Bringing dreams within reach for children
We care deeply about equity, empowerment, and emotional well-being for children in foster care. We believe literacy and education is a human right and a critical foundation for lifelong success. Above all, we care about helping each child feel seen, valued, and inspired.
