Our Impact
Our mission at Educate Beyond is to empower children in foster care by giving them the tools to thrive. We provide access to engaging books and offer free, personalized math tutoring for youth ages 9 to 13 – helping them build confidence, and academic success during some of the most critical years of their development.
Young people from different backgrounds have a huge impact on us and all our activities. They highlight those parts of the society that are broken, so we can help them in all possible ways to regain hope and flourish in life.
We Find & Fund
All donations are put into buying books, as they can provide kids with a safe place to explore their emotions, understand their possible experiences through relatable characters, and foster a sense of identity. It can also help kids develop knowledge of the world, critical thinking abilities, and emotional intelligence. Reading enriches children’s vocabulary, and enhances their communication skills.
We Educate
Tutoring is offered online to children between the ages of 9-13 by carefully picked volunteers in high school. These young adults have been through the same curriculum, and are interviewed to ensure they are a good fit. Tutoring is free, personalized and focused on help kids feel confident in math.
